Thanks so much for camping out in my little world for a while, Russel. I’m glad you enjoyed your visit. By the way, your campsite is even better than it was prior to your arrival simply because you were here.

I hope to return to blogging on a more regular basis soon and I’m also planning some “camping trips” of my own. At the moment, I’m attempting to gain my footing and find balance as a full-time grandparent of my stepson’s beautiful twenty-eight-month-old daughter. She sure is an amazing bundle of love, mischief, joy, and seemingly endless energy.

I wish you a wonderful time here in the blogosphere and the best of luck in all of your endeavors. See you soon on one of my camping excursions!

I didn’t know that people were so anti horror writing. It seems bizarre that any sort of fiction should be criticized merely for its genre.

Last year I visited the torture museum in Spain. These instruments of torture were devised by a group of very religious people to torture another group of very religious people. This was not fiction. Now I can see why people would want to rise up against this. There is so much real horror going on in the world that it seems very petty to judge fictional horror.

What a waste of effort that could be directed to where it is really needed.
